Thanks to its 4-pin connector, the P12 PWM PST's RPM can be regulated via PWM in a broad spectrum, allowing users to keep noise at a minimum while ensuring maximum cooling performance when needed. The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the latest generation, making the new P12 PWM PST more efficient than its predecessors.

The extended life span of the P12 PWM PST is another standout feature. With a 10°C lower motor temperature, the fan's service life is roughly doubled, and the new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life due to its low coil temperature.
